FASHIONISTAS just celebrated its anniversary since debuting on the stage at Krave Nightclub, located on the south end of the Aladdin at the corner of Harmon. For those conservative high brows that have misconceptions about this awesome show, get it out of your mind. You are in for a surprise. Comparisons to Zumanity abound since they both share a penchant for outrageous costumes and tend to reach into some raunchy territory such as bi sexuality and fetish images. But, Fashionistas is in a class by itself, a show that other stage productions could learn a thing or two from. Staged strictly within the confines of fantasy, Fashionistas tells a boy meets girl love story that incorporates fashion, style, and a pulsating industrial rock sound track, with the best dancers and magnificent choreography. Kudos to porn video mogul John Stagliano for having the vision to adapt his 2002 adult movie of the same name into this dynamic, exciting, production show that deserves the highest raves.
